Arrive at Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. After some rest proceed to Sound & Light Show. The Light and Sound show on the Western Group of temples complex reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The 50-minute fascinating show is worth attending. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Visit the legendary temples including Chitragupta Temple, Devi Jagdamba Temple and Adinath Temple that are supposed to be constructed in the 9th and 10th century A.D by Chandela rulers. These temples are famous for their unique and ancient engravings. Later visit Kalinjar Fort; an old fort that was believed to be the heart of the Chandella kingdom in the 10th century. Ajaigarh Fort; an ancient fort that believed to have five gates initially, but now has only two gates, two rock-cut tanks and two temples. In addition, three ruined Jain temples have also been spotted in Ajaigarh fort and are designed in Khajuraho style. Also visit Vaman Temple and Parsvanth Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resorts. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is mainly known for its Royal Bengal Tigers. It has a typical central Indian fauna & home of more than 22 species of mammals. Common Langur and Rhesus macaque represent the primate group. Among the carnivore species Jackal, Bengal Fox, Sloth Bear, Rattle, Grey (small Indian) and Ruddy Mongoose, Striped Hyena, Wolf, Wild Dog, Jungle Cat, Leopard and Tiger are prominent. Ungulates (animals which walk on tips of their toes) include Chital, sambar, barking deer, chinkara, chousingha, nilgai and wild pig. Porcupine, Lesser Bandicoot and three striped palm squirrel are among the rodents. Small Indian civet and toddy cat are also found here though seen rarely being nocturnal. Another nocturnal animal, the Rufous-necked hornbill is also seen usually during dusk. Overnight stay at resort.
Breakfast at resort. Take at least two Jungle Safari of the national park for wildlife viewing. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968. Since then many steps have been taken to retain Bandhavgarh National Park as an national habitat for a variety of wildlife peculiar to the area. These include Gaur (Indian bison), Sloth Bear, Leopard, Porcupine, Wild Boar, Sambar and Spotted Deer, among others and of course, the Tiger. Overnight stay at resort
Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Kanha National Park. Kanha National Park is one of the most popular tiger reserves in India with an extension of over 1,940-sq-kms.The hills offer support sizeable plateaus (locally called 'Dadars') and the characterized by extensive grasslands and scant trees. Arrive at Kanha and check in resort. Overnight stay at resort.
The day starts with early morning jungle safari by Jeep. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on the trip through the park. Your guide is an experienced wildlife naturalist, who will give you an insightful tour. The park is a home to major population of Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards, Sloth Bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog. The worldwide unforgettable classic Jungle Book was the result of the inspiration to Rudyard Kipling which he gathered from the lush Green Forests of Sal and Bamboo, Green Meadows and Ravines or Gorge of Kanha. After Safari back to resort and have breakfast. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy any in-house activities or nature track of your choice. Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Pench National Park. Pench National Park is one of the prominent wildlife reserves in India to spot the Royal Bengal Tigers. On arrival check in resort. After some rest, head for the forest and enjoy a great bird watching session or visit the tribal village or get to the ‘potter’s village’ to get closer to the culture and heritage of this place. In the evening visit lake to enjoy the Sunset. Overnight stay at resort.
Early morning a Jungle Safari in the park. You can see Tigers and Chital, Barking Deer, Nilgai, Black Buck, Monkeys, Mouse Deer, Black-Naped Ha Porcupines, and Flying Squirrels, to name a few. There are over 285 species of resident and migratory birds including the Malabar Pied Horn bill, Indian Pitta, Osprey, Grey Breakfast. Post lunch enjoy an evening Jungle Safari. Later at leisure. Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Nagpur. On arrival take drop at Nagpur Railway Station / Airport for your return journey.
