Guwahati Arrival & Sightseeing
On your arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station proceed to hotel and check in. Guwahati is considered to an ancient town and has relevance with Pragjyotishpura as per Archeological excavations. The city of Guwahati is also called as “City of Eastern Lights†and is one of the major destinations of Eastern India also serves as a gateway to the North East Region. Guwahati Sightseeing
After Breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour to see the other popular places of Guwahati such as Umananda Temple (Located in the midst of mighty river Brahmaputra on world’s smallest Island), State Museum, State Zoo, Navagraha Temple (Temple of Nine Planets). Guwahati Kaziranga (Approx 200 Kms / 04 Hrs - 05 Hrs Drive)
Check-out from the Hotel after an early breakfast and proceed to Kaziranga; one of the popular conservation centres for the protection of endangered one horned Rhino. Kaziranga was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 and home to approximately two-thirds of World total population of one horned Rhino. In the year 2006, Kaziranga earned another star and was further declared as a Tiger Reserve due to the significant population of tigers in the reserve. Apart from these endangered species, the park also possesses large number of elephants, wild buffalo and swamp deer. Kaziranga has also been titled as an Important Bird Area by the Bird-life International for the conservation of Avifaunal species. Arrive at Kaziranga and check in hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Kaziranga National Park Safari (Elephant and Jeep Safari)
Early morning proceed for an Elephant Safari to explore the wide varieties of wildlife of Kaziranga. Pass through the grasslands and teeming forests. It is believed that wildlife watching in Kaziranga is similar to Africa with beautiful scenery offering breathtaking views. Later return to your hotel for the breakfast. Day is free for Leisure till noon. Post proceed for Jeep Safari to discover the wilderness of Kaziranga by going in the interiors of the reserve. Though the main attraction of Kaziranga is one horned Rhino but the reserve is a home to huge number of Tigers, elephants, variety of deer, Bear, Python, monitor Lizards and variety of Birds. Kaziranga Shillong (Approx 260 Kms / 05 Hrs - 07 Hrs Drive)

Shillong Cherrapunjee - Shillong (Approx 55 Kms One-way / 03 Hrs - 04 Hrs Drive)
Post Breakfast proceed to the wettest place on the earth that is Cherrapunjee. Shillong Mawsynram Shillong (Approx 65 Kms One-way / 02 Hrs - 03 Hrs Drive)
Post Breakfast proceed for full day excursion tour of Mawsynram. Mawsynram is an extremely beautiful village blessed with blissful beauty located in the Khasi regions of Meghalaya. A Journey to Mawsynram is through twisting road along with the lush green valley offering stunning views of the mountains. Mawsynram has plethora of flora and fauna and is amongst the top monsoon destinations. Visit to the popular places in Mawsynram such as Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Jakrem Hot Water Spring, Mawsynram Botanical Gardens and Mawjymbuin Caves which are made due to real erosion of rocks. Shillong - Guwahati Airport / Railway Station via Umiam Lake (Approx 150 Kms / 03 Hrs -05 Hrs Drive)
