Mangalore Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive at Mangalore and transfer to hotel. After relaxing for some time, set out for the sightseeing tour of Mangalore. Visit Kudroli Temple; famous temple in the city of Mangalore dedicated to Gokarnanatheswara, another form of Lord Shiva. This is the only temple in Karnataka started by Narayana Guru, the famous social reformer from Kerala. Next attraction will be St. Aloysius Chapel; a Catholic Church and a famous attraction set atop the Lighthouse Hill and has a regal look which is breathtaking right from the entrance. Later visit New Mangalore Port; the ninth biggest port in India, this was established in 1974 and is located at the north of the confluence of the Gurupura river with the Arabian Sea. By late noon proceed to visit the Ullal Beach, Just a little away from the main city of Mangalore. Ullal beach mesmerizes its visitors with a panoramic view of a long coastline and the majestic Arabian Sea. The entire coast of the serene Ullal Beach is flanked with tall lush casuarinas and dense palm trees that make it look like a scene from a beautiful painting. By night back to hotel at Mangalore. Mangalore - Udupi via Surathkal & Kapu (Approx 70 Kms / 01 Hrs - 03 Hrs Drive)
Post breakfast, check out of the hotel and get transferred to Udupi. Udupi is a small temple town located in the coastal Karnataka. En-route visit Surathkal Beach, NITK Light House and NITK Beach. Later visit Kapu where you can visit a lovely beach, a ruined fort and an old 100 feet high lighthouse. Arrive at Udupi and check in hotel. Later visit the Panoramic view of Malpe Beach. Enjoy the view of the natural harbor of Malpe, an important fishing centre that enriches Karnataka’s coastline with its picturesque beach. Later, visit St. Mary’s Island. The island is 300 Mts long and 100 Mts wide and is dotted with a few palm trees. Evening visit Sri Krishna Matha Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Udupi - Gokarna via Maravanthe, Ottinene Beach & Kumta (Approx 190 Kms / 03 Hrs - 05 Hrs Drive)
Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Karwar. En-route visit Maravanthe Beach, one of the most scenic beaches in Karnataka. Maravanthe Beach is the highway stretch of 1 Km flanked by the Maravanthe beach on one side and the River Sauparnika on the other side. Later pay visit to Kshitija Nesara Dhama for sunset view at Ottinene Beach. Next you will be visiting Mirjan Fort and Mahalasa Temple at Kumta. Evening stroll at Alvekodi Beach of Kumta. Arrive at Gokarna by night and check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Gokarna & Murudeshwar Sightseeing - Karwar (Approx 80 Kms / 02 Hrs Drive)
Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Murudeshwar Beach. On arrival visit Murudeshwar Temple; this temple boasts of the second highest statue of Lord Shiva in the world, and the sheer magnanimity of the statue will fill you with a sense of awe. Later visit Murudeshwar Fort; origins in the era of the Vijayanagara Kings.Thereafter visit attractions at Gokarna. Pay visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, Gokarna Beach, Paradise Beach and OM beach. Later proceed to Karwar. Arrive at Karwar and checkin hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Karwar- Devbagh Beach & Kurumgad Island Excursion
Post breakfast proceed to Devbagh and Kurumgad Island. The Devbagh Beach is counted among a number of small islands on the horizon and popular center for diving and snorkeling. Arrive at Beach and spend time on your own. Later proceed to Kurumgad Island. Shaped like a tortoise, this island is home to the Narasimha temple which is a famous pilgrimage spot in the area. A deserted lighthouse is also present on this island which has its own historic background. Various activities like water sports, fishing etc can be enjoyed here. By evening back to Karwar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Karwar Sightseeing - Goa Beach Tour (Approx 120 Kms / 04 Hrs - 06 Hrs Drive)
Post breakfast checkout and visit Karwar Beach. This scenic beach lies on a thin strip of tropical sand tucked away between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. Later visit INS Chapal Warship Museum; a missile warship and was used in the 1971 Indo - Pak war. In 2006, the ship was converted into a museum to display sea-artefacts, a video of the ship being converted into this museum among other collectibles. Later proceed to Goa. En-route visit beautiful beaches of South Goa. Visit Palolem Beach , Agonda Beach, Cavelossim Beach, Benaulim Beach and Colva Beach. Arrive at hotel and check in. Overnight stay at hotel.
Drop at Dabolim Airport / Madgaon Railway Station
Post breakfast checkout from Hotel and take drop at Dabolim Airport / Madgaon Railway Station for your journey back home.
