Arrive at Chennai Airport / Railway station and proceed to the selected hotel. Arrive at hotel and check-in. After some rest proceed for sightseeing of Chennai (Madras) - the fourth largest city in India and the capital of Tamil Nadu. The city apart from being a major commercial hub of South India is also a centre for South Indian art, architecture, music, dance, culture, traditions and festivals. There are many places of tourist attraction in and around the city. Visit Kapaleeswarar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Sree Parthasarathy Temple, Government Museum, Fort Museum, National Art Gallery, Little Mount Shrine, Fort St. George and St. Mary’s Church. Evening stroll on Marina beach (a gorgeous 11 km shoreline). By night back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Mahabalipuram. Enroute visit Kanchipuram; one in all the attractive temple town that square measure. Visit Kamatchi Amman Temple, Varatharaja Perumal Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Kailasanathar Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple. Later proceed to Mahabalipuram. Arrive at Mahabalipuram and check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast checkout and proceed for sightseeing. The town is famous for its stone carvings, is situated on the shore of Bay of Bengal, 58 km south of Chennai. Once a thriving port city under the Pallava Empire this UNESCO world heritage site has many rock-cut monuments dating from 7th – 9th century AD. Places of tourist interest include the Shore Temples, Arjuna’s Penance, Krishnamandapam, Mandapams, Rathas, Crocodile Farm, Covelong beach, and Thirukkazhukundram. Later proceed to Puducherry. Arrive at Puducherry and check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, you can head out for a full day excursion in Puducherry (This place was earlier called as Puducherry located on the east Indian seaboard. Here you can witness French influence architecture with a few Gallic accents). During the tour you can do sightseeing attractions like Manakula Vinayagar Koil Temple, the Sacre Coeur Church, the Raj Nivas and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight stay at hotel.
Sri Aurobindo Ashram: Located on rue de la Marine, Sri Aurobindo Ashram is one of the famous ashrams set up in the year 1926 by a saint-yogi and a philosopher-poet Sri Aurobindo. Sri Aurobindo also taught Integral Yoga, it is a new and a modern way of mind developing, a synthesis of yoga and modern science. Also, another famous figure, a French painter, sculptor and a musician, Madame Mirra Richard Alfassa joined Sri Aurobindo later in continuing with the new era yoga. Even after the death of Sri Aurobindo, she continued the practice till her last breath. She died at the age of 93 in the year 1973.
The Puducherry Museum: The museum is one of the best attractions in Pondi located in the Saint Louis street. It remains open between 10.00 to 05.00 pm all days except Mondays and national holidays. The Pondicherry Museum was the former residence of the French Administrator and it has a wide collection of impressive things from the Pallava and Chola dynasties like rare bronzes and stone sculptures. It also has objects found in an ancient port site Arikamedu 7km from the main city. Slos, you can find wide collections of Greek and Roman Jars, collection of temple lamps, 200 year old beads and precious stones and also some Chinese objects from the Tsung period.
Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: Located on the South Boulevard, Subbayah Salai, Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an Neo-Gothic church endowed in white and brown. Built in the 1700’s by the French missionaries it is one of Puducherry's best Catholic Churches.
Manakula Vinayagar Koil Temple: Manakula Vinayagar Koil Temple is dedicated to Ganesha and it is more than 300 years old and it has a golden spire.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Tiruchirappalli. Arrive at Tiruchirapalli and check-in at the hotel and rest. Later, head out for sightseeing. Visit Grand Anicut / Kallanai Dam (a popular picnic spot and the only stone dam in the world), Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rockfort Temple and Jambukeshwara Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast checkout and proceed to Thanjavur and catch a glimpse of the ancient structures built by Marathas, Nayaks and Cholas. They were also great philanthropist who supported the art and culture. Here, you can visit places like Sivagangai Garden, Sri Brihadeeswarar Temple, Mariamman Temple, Mariamman Temple and Schwartz Church. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast and drive to Rameswaram. On arrival check in hotel. After some rest take holy bath at Agni Teertham and visit Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple and Gandhamadana Parvatham. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning proceed to Dhanushkodi; the land border between Sri Lanka and India. It is located around around 20 km away from Rameshwaram. The name Dhanuskodi literally means ‘end of bow’, which denotes the legend of Lord Rama and the Hindu sacred text Ramayana. On arrival visit Dhanushkodi Beach and Ram Setu View Point. Arrive back at hotel and breakfast. After freshen up checkout from the hotel and proceed to one of the oldest Indian cities, Madurai. Madurai is an ancient city with many temples, it derived its name from the divine nectar dripped from Shiva’s matted locks. On arrival you can visit sites like Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, Meenakshi Temple and Mariamman Teppakulam. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast checkout form Madurai and drive to Kanyakumari, located in the southernmost part of India (it is the meeting point of three oceans, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal). Here, you can visit Vattakotai Fort, Swami Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple and Sunset Point from where you get a riveting sight of the sunset. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast check-out and get drop to Thiruvananthapuram Airport / Railway station for your return journey.
