Srinagar Sonamarg Kargil (205 Kms / 7- 8 Hrs)

After breakfast leave for Kargil. Enroute tour of Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold). Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. The drive through here presents a spectacular facet of the countryside. Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by pine forest mountains up-to 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajiwas Range Mountains" . One can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier. Sonamarg is also known as Gateway to Leh – Ladakh. Continue drive towards Kargil. You start steep ascending most rough road and wet Zojila pass (Altitude 3527 Mtrs) known as  (Gateway of Ladakh). Visit Dras Memorial; second coldest place in the world. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil. On arrival at Kargil check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Kargil Lamayuru Leh (265 Kms / 8-9 Hrs / Drive Altitude 3505 Mtrs)

Morning after breakfast checkout and proceed to Leh. En-route visit Lamayura Gompa; the oldest religious center of Ladakh situated on or near the Indus and is believed to have been the sacred site for the pre-Buddhist religion known as "Bon". Built in the 10th century, the monastery is spectacularly located on an eroded mass of rock below towering mountains. The Monastery here beats all others in sheer grandeur and in its uniqueness of wood carving. Continue drive towards Leh. On the way visit Indus & Zanskar River Sangam Point, Magnetic Hill, Gurdwara Sahib and Hall of Fame (Museum Dedicated Kargil War Heroes). Later checkin hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Leh Local Monasteries Tour

Breakfast at hotel. Post breakfast visit Shey Palace; situated 15 Kms south of Leh. The ruins of this former summer palace of the kings of Ladakh is perched high up on a rocky cliff. The 12 m Sakyamuni Buddha statue made of gold-plated copper by King Singge Namgyal’s son Deldan Namgyal, is the largest in the area.

Later visit Thiksey Monastery; located about 17 kms south of Leh. This monastery of characteristic beauty is probably the most photographed and also the best place around Leh to visit. It is a magnificent complex with its red and yellow main building rising grandly above the numerous monk

Your next stop will be at Hemis Monastery. Hemis monastery is one of the most famous and largest of all monasteries in Ladakh, 45 Kms south of Leh founded in 17th century belongs to the Drukpa order. The monastery was founded by Stagsang Raschegn who was invited to Ladakh by king Singee Namgyal. late evening return back from sightseeing to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Leh Khardungla Pass 18380 Ft. Nubra Valley and Hundur (Drive 130 Kms / 4 - 5 Hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass (Highest Motorable road in the World at 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by afternoon.Post lunch f explore Diskit Monastery, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Overnight stay at the camp.

Nubra Valley Pangong Lake It is the highest land locked lake (180 Kms / 6 - 8 Hrs )

Early morning after breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake via Wari La / Shyok Route. Arrive at Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 Mtrs). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometre at its widest point and over 130 Kms long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back Government decided to open it to tourists under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Overnight stay at the camp.

Pangong Lake Leh (150 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast checkout and drive back to Leh. Arrive at Leh and check in hotel. Later Walk around Leh Market Overnight stay at Hotel.

Leh Sarchu / Jispa (270 Kms / 8-9 Hrs Drive)

Early morning after breakfast leave from Leh towards Sarchu/Jispa via Tanglang La Pass (17,480 ft - world’s 2nd highest Motorable Pass). Pass by Pang, Nakila pass, Lachung la pass, Sarchu, Baralachala pass, Suraj tal, Deepak tal and Darcha. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Sarchu / Jispa.

Sarchu / Jispa Manali (230 Kms 7-8 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast Leave from Sarchu /Jispa to Manali via Keylong, Tandi, Khoksar & Rohtang Pass (13500 ft). On arrival check in hotel. Evening free for relaxation or shopping in Manali. Night stay at Manali
